OX PRO System

The SPARROW light by Bison Gear was designed specifically for OX PRO roof racks, which feature a dedicated mounting spot for it. The OX PRO rack also includes a built-in cable routing space, making installation cleaner and easier.

Choose bright white light (180 lm) for maximum visibility or soft amber (130 lm) for a cozy atmosphere and reduced insect attraction. You can also combine both for balanced 150 lm lighting.

Awesome little light!

Awesome little light! Mounted in the bed of my truck under a diamond back cover as my truck did not have stock bed light. The angled mount works great to get light were I want it. Only thing I would change is the mount, so that the screws to mount it to the truck would be able to go straight in as opposed to the angle they go in as it is.

Bison Gear Sparrow Dimmable Dome Light

I added the Bison Gear Sparrow dimmable dome light to my OX Pro roof rack, and it has been a genuinely useful upgrade. The install was straightforward and clean, mounting directly to the rack without the need for custom brackets or fabrication.
The functionality is where it stands out. The light is fully dimmable, which lets me fine tune the brightness depending on what I am doing, whether that is working out of the back of the truck or just setting up camp. It also offers three different color options, which is more useful than it sounds. Being able to change the color helps manage glare at night and keeps the lighting comfortable without washing everything out.
The light output is even and controlled, providing usable illumination without being harsh. It integrates cleanly with the rack and looks like it belongs there rather than something added after the fact. It is a simple piece of gear, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well.

Initial impression

Initial impression. These seem of decent quality and throw plenty of light in my tests. I will be mounting these on either side of my RTT trailer to provide general lighting in camp around the trailer.
